Bridges in Söderhamn

This is the Ironbridge in Söderhamn, which was built in 1900 to replace an older bridge on this side of Ironbridge. In this photo the renovations of the bridge has just started.

This is part of the railings on the Iron bridge over the river through the central parts of Söderhamn. This bridge was built in the year 1900, and can also be seen in the view over the town from Oskarsborg on previous page.

View of the wooden bridge to the east part of town called Forsbacka. This bridge is sometimes closed because of floodings.

Here is another view of the Forsbacka bridge with the road out to Forsbacka, which is seen in the background.

View of Hamnbron, the harbour bridge over the river Söderhamnsån, at old railroad station. This bridge was built in 1933 replacing a ferry at the same place. This photo was taken in early may 2004.

View of old railroad bridge over the river Ljusnan near Ljusne. Ljusne is a small town south of Söderhamn.
